Jogja will always remind in my mind

Took a short holiday with doe gre on last thurs til sunday and it turned out to be insanely fun. Our destination was Jog..jaHHH :) we missed gudeg, the hectic malioboro, and javanese-ish athmospheres and glows. We had less preparations to be ready to go hehee. We want more excitement on having the less-prepared holiday. Just booked a hotel to stay, train ticket to depart and plane ticket to return. There we arrived at tugu station at probably 10, waiting for hotel pick up service about 20mts. It was surprised to see the driver picking us up was the handsome one with his smiling face and we pretended that we were fine with late pick up though we were grumbling on the hotel service before hahaahahaha. We stayed at Jambuluwuk, such a strongly recommended hotel in Jogja. Doe gre and me shared a big single bed together for 3nights. The most unique place we visited was Ullen Sentalu. Some people might be avoiding going to museum, but being there I feel so much fun. It's fun to hear some histories about javanese monarchies esp in Jogja and Solo. We had a mini group tour guided by a cheerful guide explaining about its arts and cultures as well. I turned out to be falling in love with Javanese culture and batik :) i tell you now that each batik designs, motives and its engraving deliver an honesty, glorious message and good meaning. Dont take it batik as simple as you think. Painting batik needs uber patience and a clean heart. At the end of tour, we had a little shopping in batik blouse and cotton. I love the peace surrounding the people and the city. Oh and there were lots of foreigner walking along malioboro and beringharjo market, having their street snacks such as sayur pecel, tempe bacem, tempe mendoan, es dawet, and es durian. I also found they enjoyed much having a ride on dokar or becak like we did on our way to House of Raminten. Try to taste "sego kucing pakte" and grilled banana there and bet you all gonna like that!

Jogja will always remind in my mind.
